The hotel specialises in breakfasts to enliven your senses and treats to make you tingle with happiness. Join us in our sun splashed restaurant over looking the harbour and start the day with some serious sausages, freshly cracked eggs and just squeezed juice. Or if you don’t want to rush down for breakfast you can save your breathe to cool your porridge in the comfort of your own room

The restaurant is open in the evening for groups and special occasions and the carefully selected food theme continues with a melting pot of meats, pasta and fish from the North sea and Scotland’s finest larders all accompanied by market fresh vegetables and salads. All very handsome indeed.

As a small act of rebellion we also think you will be itching to get your hands on our naughty nibbles and bedside treats – every mouthful as delicious as the condemned man’s breakfast and offering not a crumb of comfort for those counting the calories.

Bookings and terms

Party bookings

For parties of 10 or more people we will ask for a menu choice pre-order to be forwarded at least 72 hours before your meal

There is a 10% service charge on all parties of 10 or more persons.

For non company bookings of 10 or more people on Friday or Saturday there will be a £100.00 non refundable deposit charged and this must be paid at least 7 days in advance by the organizer. This will be made by credit card guarantee and will only actually be charged in the event of a no show or decrease in the numbers booked. However any deposit held will be returned to the customer in the form of a food credit note to be used within 2 months of the booking date.

For company bookings where a company is paying for a meal /Special event //buffet etc payment for the food is required at least 72 hours in advance when final numbers must be confirmed.

After the 72 hours charges for all customers booked will have to be paid for.

About Sopranos

Soprano Hotels is owned by Jonathan Day and in Aberdeen the Sopranos Wine Bar and Bistro is part of the Sopranos St Magnus Court Hotel.

The company is currently planning it’s next development s in the South of France and Asia.

Ladies days

Ladies days are most popular at lunch times and in the afternoons , particularly Saturdays.

So if you have a group of friends who would like to catch up and ‘while away’ a few hours, why not reserve a ladies day package.

Choose your favourite table and take lunch or dinner with a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival. There is also a pleasant thank you for the organiser in recognition of all the work involved in getting everyone together.

Ladies day bookings are for parties taking main courses or full meals from the a la carte menu and vouchers or other incentive offers are not valid with this special package.

Live music

There is occasional live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 9.30pm always followed by a late night lounge DJ until 2.00am.

The crowd for the late night slots is an eclectic mix of professionals, musicians, international mature students and the over 25’s. The nights appeal to those who a appreciate a smart but relaxed venue and who are looking for a chilled hassle free night where they can mix with a fun loving, well behaved and friendly group of people.

Starbucks

Throughout the day we offer a Starbucks coffee concept or you can enjoy a quality Starbucks coffee or tea with you lunch or dinner.

Breakfast

7am to 12 noon Monday till Saturday

You can now enjoy a freshly cooked Sopranos breakfast. Choose a full cooked or a continental breakfast or take a Starbucks coffee and start the day with a bacon , sausage or egg roll.

Treats

If you feel like treating yourself, or if you have a special occasion to celebrate you will love the Sopranos Treasure Chests.

Inside your treasure chest there is Belgian chocolates, a bottle of champagne and two shots of your favourite liqueur – The champagne is also served in so ‘ Oh so nice’ head turning glasses. Feel like a king and Queen and enjoy.

The love nest

Well you don’t actually have to be in love for this one but it helps. Our love nest is located at the very end of the restaurant tucked in ‘ a velvet curtained hideaway’ all by itself. A perfect venue to enjoy a Treasure Chest but also a very popular spot for friends who have some serious ‘catching up to do.’

Gift vouchers are available in £10.00, £20.00 and £50.00 vouchers.

Function and party bookings

You can arrange a function meal any day of the week, using a particular part of the restaurant if you want e.g. the main restaurant area, the alcove or the alcove and the main restaurant area.

If you want to organize an Event between Sunday and Wednesday we can usually offer some very competitive pricing as well.
